Surprise 60th Birthday Party at Merchant’s Hall
ACES were delighted to be asked to assist a client in arranging a surprise 60th Birthday party for her husband.
The Merchants’ Hall in Bristol was chosen as the ideal location with its magnificent suite of rooms and a dinner for sixty invited guests was agreed upon.
Preparations began three months prior to the event, and many ‘secret’ meetings later the invitation design had been approved and the invitations sent.
The menus and flower arrangements we agreed soon after, and the finishing touches were put in place before the big day.
The clients’ husband was overjoyed when he arrived with his wife at his surprise party. The already impressive façade of the building was further enhanced by two large flambés that lit up the entrance, and a footman greeted all the guests to the venue.
After a champagne and canapé reception, guests moved to the imposing dining room for a magnificent three course dinner. The magnificent 60ft long mahogany table was decorated with exquisite silver table pieces and stunning floral arrangements.
The whole evening was a tremendous success – both for our client and the guests and most important of all, the clients’ husband, who was thrilled and delighted by the whole experience.
