The Ultimate Boy’s 21st Birthday Party
A 21st birthday party always requires something special, and ACES managed to combine many unusual elements to make for a truly memorable party.
The brief was for an ‘uber cool’ boy’s birthday party; something more masculine and ‘dramatic’ than a standard 21st.
As guests arrived, the dramatic façade was uplit with warm lighting and gas flame sconces, while a human tree shook, giggled and flicked its tendrils as guests passed by. Shrieks and exclamations peppered the arrival hubbub, which made for a hilarious addition to the reception.
The existing structures in the garden, including a stone urn and two large rosebushes, were incorporated into the marquee, providing excellent focal points with cleverly placed lighting.
After the meal and speeches, guests were treated to the unveiling of the dancefloor: a white floored, mirror-balled space worthy of any top-tier nightclub.
As guests danced, there was a change of décor in the main marquee. Small poufs, mirrored tables and hookah pipes were brought in to create several chill-out spaces. Guests could come to regain their breath, while fruit smoothies and bacon rolls were on hand for those that needed to replenish their energy.
